Hi! I’m Dr. Kristina Portillo, and I’m from the small Swedish farming town of Kingsburg, CA. As the daughter of farm laborers, I saw the effects that a lifetime of physical labor can have on the body. This motivated me from a young age to find a career that would help people get back to doing what they need and love to do. I became a chiropractor to help people rid themselves of chronic pain to get them back to work, and back to life!
I graduated from California State University, Fresno with Honors while earning my B.A. in General Chemistry. I then moved up to the Bay Area in California to attend Life Chiropractic College West, where I excelled in both the academic and clinical setting. I graduated with honors for Clinical Excellence and was the valedictorian of my class. My academic achievements translate into my dedication to help patients achieve a pain-free life!
In my free time, I enjoy fly fishing, camping, and watching my favorite professional sports teams (I’m an authentic California girl who loves my San Francisco Giants, San Francisco 49ers, and Golden State Warriors!).
